Bought this battery a little while back and give it a 5/5 rating. The Dell stock batteries are pretty much worthless and usually last maybe a year.

Installed this on my Dell Inspiron 1501 on 10/30/09. The system immediately recognized and started to load. It turned out 86% of the cost of the box and loaded to 100% in a few hours. I had “problems” with the main battery I bought a few weeks ago from another bank for $ 32 (cheapest I could find on the Web). The Inspiron 1501 recognize the battery and gave me did not recognize, “the article and download is not displayed, and it did not. I’ve tried everything (including flashing the BIOS from the Dell download) will not be accepted without the battery in the computer. I got three flashing red and green flash constantly on the battery light on the bottom right corner of the lid, according to the manual means defective battery which has to be true.
