I have done a lot of searching for extra income since my employer has cut my hours due to the economy!

I do appreciate my job and thank god every day for my employment, but losing hours made me seek out something I could do basically on my own time.

I searched 100′s of money making opportunities and spent some money in the process. I found a lot of scams, along with some good information in the process. Through my research I came across Mystery shopping and for me it became a solution for extra income!

I have found this work, at first a daunting process due to my learning curve in making reports, but after a few trial and errors I found success.

I do an average of 30 assignments per month, with an average income of around $450.00 per month working 10 to 15 hours per month. In most cases I plan my assignments over the weekend when I want to take a mini vacation.

For example: Last months trip to St Louis – Missouri

It take’s me about 2 hours to drive to St Louis so I left on a Friday and arrived 11:00 am and stayed at a nice motel for free.

Did my Motel Mystery shop that paid for my room and paid me $50.00 – my report took about an 1 ½ hours so now it’s around 1 pm.

Now I have 3 Apartment Mystery Shops paying me $40.00 each for a total of $120.00 – Each shop took me about 45 minutes and now it’s around 4:00 pm, so I went back to my room to freshen up and do my 3 reports. I spent about 45 minutes each, so its now around 7:00 pm and time for dinner!

I went out for dinner and, of course, it was a restaurant shop. This shop paid $30.00, my meal cost was $18.00 and my tip was $4.00 for a total of $22.00. I arrived back to my motel room and did my report. This report only takes about 30 minutes, and it is now around 9:30 pm and it’s time for some night life.

This is a cool shop but hard to come by! I went to a local casino and played for a couple of hours and yes, this was a Casino Mystery Shop that paid $200.00. It is now 12:30 am and I’m back at the motel. I spent $35.00 at the casino and no I did not win a dime. I did my report that took 1 hour and 45 minutes and headed off to bed. My total take for the day was $400.00 – My total cost for gas and expenses was $82.00!

I made a net of $318.00 and had a great time and headed back home on Saturday around 10:30 am.

It has been truly rewarding both on a personal level and financially.

Before I started I studied many articles and read a lot of e-books both free and some I paid for! The top two for me have been “Be a Mystery Shopper” and “Get Paid To Shop”!

I'm going to starting college in october and this is my first time buying any type of computer let alone a notebook computer. Don't know much about computers, so be ready for questions. Planning to obtain a associates in science and transferring to university for a degree in nutritional sciences. I like how the hp and gateway computers. So pretty much the sleek and shiny look is the look for me. Yet i'm looking more for performance, so if a notebook computer isn't top grade in the looks department, but it has great performance than i'll definitely consider it. Remember i'm probably going to be carrying it around to libraries and coffee shops. Please keep that in mind! I would also like reasons for your recommendation and personal experience with the manufacturer of the computer.

Subsequently, I accidentally deleted a large project file that was too big for the Recycle Bin. Happily I’ve got all my data back, thanks to good advice and a little preparation.

These handy tips will help you stay confident in the face of data loss, no matter how it occurs.

Tip #1: Use your system as little as possible until you recover all of your lost files. The more activity taking place on your hard disk, the greater the chance that some of your lost data might be written over.

- Don’t copy any files to the disk containing your lost data;

- Avoid browsing the web, because your web browser saves cache files on the disk;

- Don’t launch any unnecessary programs, because they can also use your disk;

- Don’t restart your computer.

Tip #2: Before you go further, take steps to free up some space on the disk containing your lost files. The more free space your system has, the less chance of overwriting any lost files with new ones. You can do one or more of the following things.

- Delete old files that you don’t need anymore (you can also move them to another source, like a USB flash drive, instead of deleting);

- Empty your Recycle Bin – making sure that you haven’t put any important files in there by mistake;

- Empty your browser cache. For Internet Explorer, click on the “Tools” menu, then select “Internet Options”. Then, on the “General” tab, click the “Delete Files…” button.

Tip #3: To install any software after data damage increases the risk of your data being overwritten, so if you haven’t had any data problems yet, consider installing a data recovery program just in case. Prevention is always better than cure, and a recovery program is good insurance for your data. However, if you don’t yet have a recovery program, find one and – if possible – avoid installing it to the disk where your lost files are located.

Most recovery programs work fairly similarly. You need to select the disk where the lost files are located, let the program analyze the content of the disk – this can take a while – and then select the file you want to recover. Then, provide a location where you want to save that file. You should try to avoid recovering files to the same disk. You could use another hard drive, a network or removable media like a floppy disk or USB flash drive.

After you recover your files, check that they are correct. If you’ve recovered applications, check that they still run, or if you’ve recovered documents, check that your words are still there. Even the best recovery software can’t guarantee 100% results. If some parts of your files were overwritten – meaning that other data was saved to their location on your disk – after recovery they might contain invalid information. If you don't know how to drive, you need to register for a Driving course at your regional driving schools. They are located all over the country. And the website is www.rt.gov.sa.

If you have a foreign license, you can register for a immediate urgent course and get your license with in a day.

1. Get a letter from your company, attest it at the Chamber of Commerce. 25 Riyals for attestation.

2. If you don't know your blood type, you need to get a medical report with the blood type.

3. Take copies of your iqama, passport, visa, local driving license

4. Get your driving license translated to arabic. You can get it from services from shops near the driving school area. I got my translated the application form filled in arabic, photos taken all in one stop shop. Cost me 50 riyals in total. You can also get these guys to make a file with all the documents and photo copies needed. I got this done this way. You need 4 photos depending on the license type but 6 Max. But take at least 4 extra photos with you at all times. They tend to loose photos at some times.

5. Go to the first counter (license checking) they will check for all documentation, and will stamp.

6. Next go to the Eye Testing, give your documents, look through the eye testing machine, get the file stamped

7. Head to the Driving test area, Do the Forward and Reverse in the car, don't forget the seat belt, hand brake, neutral gear rules. Instructor will sign if you pass it.

8. Go back to the license counter, give your iqama, and driving license with file to the license checking counter. He stamp the file again. Take back the iqama. Attach firm your original driving license and hand over to the document receiving counter. Pay 100 Riyals. He will give you a pink slip with your photo, and a date and time for the next test.

9. Test are usually from 6 in the morning or after 8 in the night. Be there on time for the test. Hand over your pink slip to the instructor there, and collect the sheet of paper which contains all the traffic symbols and rules and regulations.

10. Time to study. Make sure you learn everything.

11. Your instructor will guide you to the steps on how to use the computer and what type of questions what will come on the computer. Both in english and arabic.

12. Head to the examination all,(follow the instructor). Study while your can. Wait until your name is been called.

13. Go to the computer room, choose the language you want to receive the question in and answer them Good Luck.

14. Guidelines (YOU MUST! get the 1 – 10 Question correct, next question you can get 5 wrong on light vehicles and 2 wrong on heavy vehicle type of questions. Anything more than that you will fail. You got 30 minutes. Its plenty of time, So RELAX!! Don't be in a hurry.

Once you, pass the examiner will call your name, he will attach the your pink slip with the exam results. You have nothing to do here. Just speak to him, thank him and go out of the door.

15. Sit on the bench and enjoy, relax while your name is been called for driving test.

16. Driving Test – Final Obstacle. Make Sure!! YOU See ALL The Traffic Signs, and not exceed speed of 50 Km. You can shift up to 3rd gear. Use traffic signal at all times, Seat Belt, make sure your examiners seat belt if on as well. Traffic signs – STOP, where there is STOP sign don't just drive through STOP the car, look left and right, and wait for your examiner to give go. Good luck.

17. If you pass, you go straight back to first examination hall. Wait there until your name is called. Take the file, make sure your local license is there.

18. File your other results which are attached, take your driving license, keep it with you. Go to the license issue hall, take a number and wait. Here you need to pay 400 riyals for the license. Use riyadh bank, there are few people there, they will agree to transfer the money for 450 riyals. Make sure you go with them and get the slip. Slip should have your iqama number. * you can also do this your self by paying directly to any Riyadh Bank branches.

19. When you are called, take the file show the iqama, show the 400 riyals slip, show your driving license. He will ask you for blood group. If you know you need to tell him exactly what it is, if not attach the blood report to file.

20. Once you hand over, wait for 15 minutes, you will get your driving license.

All in a days work.

Congrats. You got your driving license. OBEY THE RULES on the ROAD. The highest death in saudi is caused by high speed and not obeying traffic lights.
